Clearing The Clutter From Your House And Your Mind

In a world full of chaos and disorder…..how do you feel about your space? Do you walk into your living room and feel peaceful or distracted? Clearing The Clutter From Your House And Your Mind will change your energy field and create a healthy flow of clear minded peace and bliss.

To reap the full benefits of a minimal lifestyle, first you have to only have around you items that are functional or bring a positive energy to the room.

Start with your front door, is there clutter at the entrance to your home? Clear it away and only leave whats necessary. A welcome matt, a plant (thats not dead or dying, but is pretty.) And maybe nothing else. Ask yourself as you look around at the items at your front door if the item is necessary or nice to look at.

Take a look at your living room, is it the room it’s supposed to be? Does it promote people gathering and sharing conversation? Are the items in the room serving a purpose? Hold each item and ask yourself how it makes you feel, if it doesn’t bring you a good feeling….. toss it.

Do this in every room, The kitchen will really be a challenge, but rest assured you do not need the eight colanders you have scattered about! This process will require time but will be so rewarding.

In your bedroom, have nothing under your bed. Clutter under the bed will result in restless sleeps.

Take everything out of your closet and put it in a pile on the floor. Now only hang back up what you will truly wear. Get rid of anything your saving for “when I lose weight” or ” I may one day need this for a halloween costume.”

In the yard, get rid of the broken clay pots that have nothing growing in them, clear away dead branches, prune the rose bushes, throw away all the unnecessary clutter that is blocking the flow of energy from your backyard space.

Energy flows….when theres clutter, it gets stuck on all the nonsense… on an unconscious level, your mind is taking inventory of what needs to be done to be clutter free, so the act of clearing it away will bring a sense of calm peaceful flowing energy.  Gretta

“The point of life is not to get anywhere- it is to notice that you are, and have always been, already there. There is no such thing as an incorrect path- for on this journey you cannot “not get” where you are going.”
